Welcome to lather + repeat!  We produce high-quality, small batch, artisanal bath and body products.  Our makers are inspired by the world around them and our soaps, lotions, candles, and soaks offer something for all tastes.

lather + repeat is owned and operated by Dena Mehling.  As a licensed architect with a background, oddly enough, in chemical formulations, I began soap making as a hobby and it quickly turned into a passion.  The science of soap making and the artistic nature of design felt natural with which to work.  Based in Colorado, where the climate is quite dry, I was never thrilled with how tight and dry my skin felt.  Homemade soap provided a way to control what touched my family’s skin and stopped the use of all of those detergents and hard to pronounce, harmful chemicals. 

We love making luxurious products using quality ingredients.  We love how our skin feels and think you will too.  Self-care isn't self-indulgent.  It's giving the world the best of you.  Not what’s left of you.  It's a priority... a necessity. It's survival.
